As Colorado districts make decisions to close schools, it is important to look at the impact of the school closure on students and families, as well as how districts can support students and families through school closures. Colorado Department of Education can support districts and schools in understanding the impact of the closure and best practices to mitigate the impact of a school transition on students' academic performance, including graduation.
