Description
Beginning in the fifties, farming had been a way of life for the Gertners. their family of twelve lived on a rented farm in northeastern Colorado. They had 253 acres of irrigated ground and 67 acres of pastureland to keep them very busy. Throughout the years, it took each and every family member to get the work done.
