The charming Rosemary Cottage offers midwife Amy Lange the respite she needs to mourn her brother, Ben, who disappeared in what most people blame on a surfing accident--but Amy has reason to wonder. Coast Guard officer Curtis Ireland has lost a sibling too. His sister, Gina, was killed in a boating accident, leaving him to raise her infant daughter, and, like Amy, with questions about his sibling's death. Curtis can't help being drawn to Hope Beach's new midwife and even agrees to help her investigate Ben's disappearance. Can two grieving people find healing on beautiful Hope Island?
